Keshi won’t quit again – Agent

Stephen Keshi
A person who told The Punch that he is representing Stephen Keshi’s interest has said that the coach does not intend quitting his Super Eagles job now. He suggested that Keshi is keen to see his contract to the end.
Emmanuel Ado, who signed a press release sent to our correspondent as the special assistant to the Eagles coach, said that Keshi who is holidaying in the USA, desires to maintain a cordial relationship with his employers, the Nigeria Football Federation.
The release read, “I have the authority of Mr. Stephen Keshi, the national coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria to issue this statement. To assure most especially the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan; the president of the federation, Aminu Maigari, and indeed the Nigerian Football Federation, and football loving Nigerians that I (Keshi) have no intention whatsoever to resign my job with the federation.

“I also state that Nigeria winning the African Cup of Nations is now history. The urgent task at hand is to qualify for the 2014 World Cup taking place in Brazil.”
Keshi resigned his position hours after he led Nigeria to a third African cup in February, but later rescinded his decision. In the last one week the NFF and their employee have made the headlines following the sacking of national teams backroom staff.
