SERGIO Ramos has told Manchester United that confidence is sky high at Real Madrid after back-to-back El Clasico wins.
The Spanish giants travel to Old 
Trafford having conceded an away goal in the first leg of the Champions 
League clash three weeks ago.
But, since then, they have beaten 
Barcelona twice — and Ramos reckons that gives them a massive boost 
ahead of tomorrow’s return.
The defender said, “Psychologically, the
 team has strengthened after the Clasicos and we go to Manchester 
convinced we can go through. We know we can go through.
“We gained a lot of morale by beating 
Barcelona again. It’s a tremendous satisfaction for the team but now, 
more than ever, we must keep our feet on the ground.
“We haven’t achieved anything yet. It’s two Clasicos — one of them gave us the ticket to the Spanish Cup final and the second helped us reduce the gap in La Liga.
“We still have such a long way to go but
 the desire is to eliminate United at Old Trafford. But we will go to 
Manchester showing great respect to our opponent.”
Madrid are still 13 points behind 
Barcelona in La Liga and know their season rests on their titanic clash 
with Alex Ferguson’s side.
All the euphoria from the wins over Barcelona will disappear instantly if Real fail at Old Trafford.
Ramos added, “What is true is that the 
squad is going through a brilliant moment of form. Earlier this season 
we conceded many goals from setpieces and now it’s the others who do 
that.
“Now we have a game of huge importance 
in Manchester and we are going to try to take advantage from these last 
few results and hope it goes the same way.”
