QPR sack Mark Hughes

23/11/2012 11:30, Report by Nick Coppack
Queens Park Rangers will come to Old Trafford on Saturday without Mark Hughes, whose contract was terminated by the London club on Friday morning.
The R's are without a win in the Barclays Premier League this season and have taken just three points from a possible 57 in their last 19 away games.
A statement released by QPR read: "The circumstances we find ourselves in have left the board of directors with very little choice but to make a change.
"This decision has been taken after careful consideration by the board of directors, following numerous meetings over the last few days.
"The board of directors wish to thank Mark for his commitment, hard work and dedication in his 10 months in charge.
"Mark has shown integrity and professionalism throughout his time."
Mark Bowen and Eddie Niedzwiecki will take charge of QPR for the Old Trafford clash, with many papers already reporting Harry Redknapp has been lined up to take over the manager's role thereafter.
